Bali International Film Festival
Balinale is Bali International Film Festival, invites international filmmakers to present their work to a discerning audience that’s a wonderful mix of locals and expatriates from across the globe. The 14th Bali International Film Festival was held 11-14 November 2021.
Recognized internationally for the diversity of its programming consisting of Indonesian and international independent and award winning fiction, documentary, feature and short films, it is also credited for the quality of the associated events where filmmakers enjoy BALINALE’s relaxed and familiar manner informally meeting to discuss films, trends and the demands of a growing fast paced industry.
Balinale was established in 2007, the non-profit non-government foundation strongly supported by the community in the children’s program, school visits and free open air cinema, locally known as ‘layar tancap’. BALINALE is known for its specialized knowledge and importance in promoting Indonesian cinema acting as a platform and history of supporting established and aspiring local filmmakers with workshops and seminars as an important part of the program.
The festival is known as a platform for promoting Indonesian local cinema and for supporting important educational development through workshops and seminars. Balinale has honor to participated to efforts in conserve of culture, political, and economic benefits to the country.
